Mississippi High School Softball - Oak Grove loses to Purvis
March 2, 2023: Hattiesburg, MS 39402 The Purvis Tornadoes softball team scored 22 runs and limited the host Oak Grove Warriors to 9 in the Tornadoes non-league triumph on Thursday.
With the triumph, Purvis moves its record to 3-1 on the year. The Tornadoes travel to Lawrence County (Monticello, MS) to clash with the Cougars in a 4A Region 7 game on Tuesday, March 7. The Cougars come into the game with a record of 1-3. Lawrence County lost 15-6 in their recent non-league game against Puckett (Puckett, MS)
In their next game, the Warriors clash with the Mize Bulldogs (Mize, MS) in a non-league game, on Monday, March 6. Oak Grove will attempt to move on its 4-4 season record. The Bulldogs come into the game with a 5-5 record after their 13-3 non-league win over Richton (Richton, MS).
