Covenant Day Lions (Matthews, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Durham Academy Cavaliers (Durham, NC), 10-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Covenant Day upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Lions travel to Wesleyan Christian Academy (High Point, NC) to battle the Trojans in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 5. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 3-1. Wesleyan Christian Academy won 9-2 in their recent non-league test against Thompson (Alabaster, AL)

With the defeat, Durham Academy falls to 1-1 on the season. The Cavaliers host Norfolk Academy (Norfolk, VA) to battle the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 5.
