Elysian Fields Yellowjackets (Elysian Fields, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Queen City Bulldogs (Queen City, TX), 4-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Elysian Fields upgrades its record to 3-4 on the season. The Yellowjackets host Jefferson (Jefferson, TX) to battle the Bulldogs in a 3A Region II District 16 test on Tuesday, March 5. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 0-6. Jefferson lost 15-1 in their recent non-league test against Huntington (Huntington, TX)
