In Saturday's non-league contest, the Topsail Pirates (Hampstead, NC) lacrosse squad routed the visiting Myers Park Mustangs (Charlotte, NC), by a count of 8-2.

Coming up next, the Pirates confront the South Brunswick Cougars (Southport, NC) in a Mideastern contest, on Tuesday, March 5. Topsail will attempt to advance on its 2-0 season record. The Cougars come into the contest with a 1-0 record after their 13-3 non-league win over Myrtle Beach (Myrtle Beach, SC).

The Mustangs now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Weddington for a non-league contest on Wednesday, March 6.
