Texas High School Softball - Weslaco bounces Alice
March 2, 2024: Weslaco, TX 78596 The crowd at Saturday's non-league match between the Weslaco Panthers (Weslaco, TX) and the visiting Alice Coyotes (Alice, TX), saw Weslaco's softball squad achieve victory over Alice by a count of 11-1.
The Panthers now sport a 9-3 record. They take the field next when they host Harlingen for a 6A Region IV District 32 match on Thursday, March 14.
With the loss, Alice falls to 9-8 on the campaign. The Coyotes travel to Andrews (Andrews, TX) to face the Mustangs in a non-league match on Saturday, March 2. The Mustangs enter the match with a record of 4-3. Andrews lost 9-4 in their recent non-league match against Cornerstone Christian (San Antonio, TX)
