Alto Yellowjackets (Alto, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Center Roughriders (Center, TX), 10-9 in a non-league challenge.

The Yellowjackets now sport a 10-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Woden for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 2. Alto will face a Eagles squad coming off a 18-1 non-league win over Grapeland (Grapeland, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 5-2.

With the loss, Center falls to 6-11 on the campaign. The Roughriders travel to Chester (Chester, TX) to face the Yellowjackets in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 2.
