Louisiana High School Softball - Mt. Carmel bounces Destrehan
March 2, 2024: New Orleans, LA 70124 Mt. Carmel Cubs (New Orleans, LA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Destrehan Wildcats (Destrehan, LA), 7-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Cubs now own a 8-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Michael for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 5.
With the loss, Destrehan falls to 7-4 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to St. Amant (St. Amant, LA) to battle the Gators in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 2. The Gators enter the challenge with a record of 8-3. St. Amant won 10-9 in their recent non-league challenge against E.D. White (Thibodaux, LA)
