March 2, 2024: Sulphur, LA 70663 The Sulphur Golden Tors softball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Natchitoches Central Chiefs to 7 in the Golden Tors non-league triumph on Saturday.
With the triumph, Sulphur moves its record to 9-2 on the year. The Golden Tors travel to Iowa (Iowa, LA) to clash with the Yellowjackets in a non-league game on Monday, March 4. The Yellowjackets come into the game with a record of 9-2. Iowa won 23-3 in their recent non-league game against Dunham (Baton Rouge, LA)
In their next game, the Chiefs clash with the Benton Tigers (Benton, LA) in a 5A District 1 game, on Tuesday, March 5. Natchitoches Central will attempt to move on its 5-7 season record.
