Pitman Pride (Turlock, CA) fans left the game pleased Monday as they observed their baseball squad nip the host Central Valley Hawks (Ceres, CA), 4-3 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Pitman advances its record to 2-0 on the season. The Pride host Tracy (Tracy, CA) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Wednesday, March 4. The Bulldogs go into the test with a record of 2-3. Tracy lost 8-7 in their recent non-league test against Patterson (Patterson, CA)

With the defeat, Central Valley drops to 2-3 on the year. The Hawks travel to Pleasant Grove (Elk Grove, CA) to battle the Eagles in a non-league outing on Tuesday, March 3. The Eagles come into the outing with a record of 1-1. Pleasant Grove won 9-4 in their recent non-league outing against Oakmont (Roseville, CA)
