Arlington Lions (Riverside, CA) supporters left the game pleased Monday as they witnessed their softball team tip the visiting Hemet Bulldogs (Hemet, CA), 10-9 in a non-league match.

The Lions (5-1) will now prepare for their match against Citrus Hill (Perris, CA). The Hawks come into the non-league match with a 2-2 record.

The Bulldogs now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Temecula Prep for a non-league game on Tuesday, March 3. Hemet will play a Patriots squad coming off a 13-5 non-league loss to West Valley (Hemet, CA). The Patriots record now stands at 0-1.
