The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Morse Tigers (San Diego, CA) and the host Mount Miguel Matadors (Spring Valley, CA), observed Morse's softball team prevail over Mount Miguel by a score of 14-3.

With the triumph, Morse improves its record to 2-0 on the year. The Tigers travel to Bayfront Charter (Chula Vista, CA) to face the Sharks in a non-league contest on Wednesday, March 4. The Sharks enter the contest with a record of 1-2. Bayfront Charter won 20-10 in their recent non-league contest against Kearny (San Diego, CA)

The Matadors now hold a 0-3 record. They play next when they host Montgomery for a non-league contest on Tuesday, March 3. Mount Miguel will face a Aztecs squad coming off a 6-3 non-league loss to Fallbrook (Fallbrook, CA). The Aztecs record now stands at 1-1.
