March 20, 2023: Ottawa, IL 61350 The Marquette Crusaders baseball team scored 17 runs and limited the visiting Newark Norsemen to 2 in the Crusaders non-league victory on Monday.
The Crusaders (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Aurora Christian (Aurora, IL). The Eagles go into the non-league match with a 2-0 record. In their last match, Aurora Christian gained a win over Serena (Serena, IL), 11-0, in a non-league match.
The Norsemen (0-2) will now prepare for their match against Seneca (Seneca, IL). The Fighting Irish go into the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Seneca was overwhelmed by Ottawa (Ottawa, IL), 9-7, in a non-league match.
