Louisiana High School Softball - Willow bounces West Jefferson
March 20, 2023: New Orleans, LA 70115 Willow Lions (New Orleans, LA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting West Jefferson Buccaneers (Harvey, LA), 10-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Lions now own a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to De La Salle for a 4A District 9 challenge on Thursday, March 23. Willow will battle a Cavalier squad coming off a 23-5 league win over Riverdale (Jefferson, LA). The Cavalier record now stands at 5-2.
With the loss, West Jefferson falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Buccaneers travel to Chalmette (Chalmette, LA) to battle the Owls in a 5A District 8 challenge on Tuesday, March 21. The Owls enter the challenge with a record of 8-4.
