March 20, 2024: West Monroe, LA 71291 The West Monroe Rebels baseball team scored 9 runs and limited the visiting Byrd Yellow Jackets to 1 in the Rebels non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Rebels (15-6) will now prepare for their match against West Ouachita (West Monroe, LA). The Chiefs go into the 5A District 2 match with a 8-7 record. In their last match, West Ouachita gained a win over Caldwell Parish (Columbia, LA), 8-2, in a non-league match.
The Yellow Jackets (8-7) will now prepare for their match against Southwood (Shreveport, LA). The Cowboys go into the 5A District 1 match with a 1-9 record. In their last match, Southwood was overwhelmed by Byrd (Shreveport, LA), 23-2, in a league match.
