March 20, 2024: Waianae, HI 96792 The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Nanakuli Golden Hawks (Waianae, HI) and the visiting Pearl City Chargers (Pearl City, HI), saw Nanakuli's volleyball squad beat Pearl City by a tally of 25-16.
With the win, Nanakuli upgrades its record to 2-3 on the year. The Golden Hawks host Kapolei (Kapolei, HI) to play the Hurricanes in a OIA - West bout on Wednesday, March 27. The Hurricanes go into the bout with a record of 0-5.
The Chargers now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to Kauai for a non-league bout on Saturday, March 23. Pearl City will play a Red Raiders squad coming off a 25-16 non-league loss to Island (Lihue, HI). The Red Raiders record now stands at 1-1.
