California High School Lacrosse - Bishop O'Dowd tipped by Acalanes
March 20, 2024: Oakland, CA 94605 Acalanes Dons (Lafayette, CA) boosters exited the stadium content Wednesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad gain a win over the host Bishop O'Dowd Dragons (Oakland, CA), 11-9 in a non-league battle.
The Dons now own a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Miramonte for a Diablo Athletic League battle on Friday, March 22. Acalanes will clash with a Matadors squad coming off a 18-6 non-league loss to Marin Academy (San Rafael, CA). The Matadors record now stands at 1-6.
In their next game, the Dragons clash with the Piedmont Highlanders (Piedmont, CA) in a Western Athletic Conference outing, on Friday, March 22. Bishop O'Dowd will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Highlanders go into the outing with a 6-2 record after their 10-5 non-league win over Las Lomas (Walnut Creek, CA).
