Alabama High School Softball - Opelika bounces West Memphis
March 20, 2024: Opelika, AL 36801 The Opelika Bulldogs (Opelika, AL) softball routed the visiting West Memphis Blue Devils (West Memphis, AR), 10-0 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The Bulldogs (8-11) will now prepare for their bout against Beauregard (Opelika, AL). The Hornets go into the non-league bout with a 16-5 record. In their last bout, Beauregard was routed by St. Paul's Episcopal (Mobile, AL), 3-2, in a non-league bout.
The Blue Devils now possess a 0-10 record. They play next when they host Batesville for a 5A East bout on Tuesday, March 26. West Memphis will confront a Pioneers squad coming off a 14-0 league loss to Paragould (Paragould, AR). The Pioneers record now stands at 0-2.
