The Archbishop McCarthy Mavericks baseball squad (Fort Lauderdale, FL), was overwhelmed 16-2 in Thursday's non-league contest with the host Stoneman Douglas Eagles (Parkland, FL)

With the triumph, Stoneman Douglas moves its record to 15-1 on the season. The Eagles travel to Santa Fe Catholic (Lakeland, FL) to confront the Hawks in a non-league contest on Monday, March 24. The Hawks come into the contest with a record of 13-2. Santa Fe Catholic lost 13-0 in their recent non-league contest against Owasso (Owasso, OK)

The Mavericks now possess a 5-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Coral Springs for a non-league contest on Friday, March 21.
