Georgia High School Baseball - Cherokee defeats Buford
March 20, 2025: Buford, GA 30518 The Cherokee Warriors baseball team scored 8 runs and held the host Buford Wolves to 2 in the Warriors non-league win on Thursday.
The Warriors now own a 10-9 record. They take the field next when they host Marietta for a AAAAAA Region 5 test on Tuesday, March 25. Cherokee will clash with a Blue Devils team coming off a 6-2 league loss to North Paulding (Dallas, GA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 8-11.
With the defeat, Buford drops to 12-4 on the year. The Wolves travel to Mill Creek (Hoschton, GA) to clash with the Hawks in a AAAAAA Region 8 test on Monday, March 24. The Hawks go into the test with a record of 10-6. Mill Creek won 14-4 in their recent league test against Discovery (Lawrenceville, GA)
