In Thursday's non-league game, the host James Clemens Jets baseball team scored a close 4-3 win over the Fort Payne Wildcats.

The Jets (14-5) will now prepare for their game against Sparkman (Harvest, AL). The Senators go into the non-league game with a 11-10 record. In their last game, Sparkman was tipped by Buckhorn (New Market, AL), 9-4, in a non-league game.

Next, the Wildcats play the Plainview Bears (Rainsville, AL) in a non-league game, on Monday, March 24. Fort Payne will attempt to improve on its 8-9 season record. The Bears go into the game with a 6-7 record after their 9-0 non-league win over North Jackson (Stevenson, AL).
