March 20, 2025: Olive Hill, KY 41164 The Paintsville Tigers (Paintsville, KY) baseball trounced the host West Carter Comets (Olive Hill, KY), 14-2 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
The Tigers now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Floyd Central for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 21. Paintsville will clash with a Jaguars team coming off a 10-7 non-league win over Knott County Central (Hindman, KY). The Jaguars record now stands at 3-0.
With the defeat, West Carter drops to 0-3 on the year. The Comets travel to Menifee County (Frenchburg, KY) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Monday, March 24. The Wildcats go into the challenge with a record of 0-4. Menifee County lost 11-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Paris (Paris, KY)
