Union Academy Cardinals (Monroe, NC) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Porter Ridge Pirates (Indian Trail, NC), 3-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Union Academy advances its record to 3-1 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Olympic (Charlotte, NC) to face the Trojans in a non-league test on Wednesday, March 26. The Trojans go into the test with a record of 0-5. Olympic lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Legion Collegiate Academy (Rock Hill, SC)

The Pirates now sport a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cuthbertson for a non-league test on Wednesday, March 26.
