In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Carlsbad Lancers lacrosse squad scored a tight 11-6 win over the La Jolla Vikings.

The Lancers (9-1) will now prepare for their contest against Scripps Ranch (San Diego, CA). The Falcons enter the non-league contest with a 4-3 record. In their last contest, Scripps Ranch was overwhelmed by Torrey Pines (San Diego, CA), 16-4, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Vikings meet the Stevenson Pirates (Pebble Beach, CA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, March 22. La Jolla will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record. The Pirates enter the contest with a 1-1 record after their 16-3 non-league loss to San Marcos (San Marcos, CA).
