In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Franklin Regional Panthers lacrosse squad scored a tight 9-8 triumph over the Norwin Knights.

The Panthers (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Hampton (Allison Park, PA). The Talbots go into the WPIAL 2A 2 contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, Hampton was nipped by Chartiers Valley (Bridgeville, PA), 12-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Knights meet the Mars Fightin' Planets (Mars, PA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, March 24. Norwin will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Fightin' Planets go into the contest with a 2-0 record after their 19-3 non-league win over Peters Township (McMurray, PA).
