The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the Pioneer Mustangs (San Jose, CA) and the visiting Homestead Mustangs (Cupertino, CA), saw Pioneer's baseball team beat Homestead by a margin of 12-0.

The Mustangs (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Los Altos (Los Altos, CA). The Eagles enter the non-league battle with a 4-1 record. In their last battle, Los Altos defeated Carlmont (Belmont, CA), 6-5, in a non-league challenge.

With the defeat, Homestead drops to 1-5 on the year. The Mustangs host Bellarmine College Prep (San Jose, CA) to clash with the Bells in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 22.
