California High School Softball - Port of Los Angeles can't get by North
March 20, 2025: Torrance, CA 90504 North Saxons (Torrance, CA) supporters left the game pleased Thursday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Port of Los Angeles Polar Bears (San Pedro, CA), 9-8 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, North improves its record to 2-5 on the year. The Saxons host Granada Hills Charter (Granada Hills, CA) to play the Highlanders in a non-league game on Tuesday, March 25. The Highlanders enter the game with a record of 3-3. Granada Hills Charter won 5-0 in their recent non-league game against West Ranch (Valencia, CA)
The Polar Bears now hold a 2-3 record. They play next when they host San Pedro for a non-league game on Wednesday, March 26. Port of Los Angeles will play a Pirates squad coming off a 10-4 non-league loss to Redondo Union (Redondo Beach, CA). The Pirates record now stands at 1-1.
