Dakota Cougars (Macomb, MI) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Thursday as they saw their lacrosse team nudge the host De La Salle Collegiate Pilots (Warren, MI), 12-11 in a non-league game.

With the victory, Dakota advances its record to 1-1 on the season. The Cougars travel to L'Anse Creuse North (Macomb, MI) to play the Crusaders in a non-league game on Tuesday, April 1. The Crusaders come into the game with a record of 0-0.

The Pilots now sport a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Powers Catholic for a non-league game on Saturday, March 22.
