The Sun Valley Spartans lacrosse team (Monroe, NC), was overwhelmed 20-10 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host St. Stephens Indians (Hickory, NC)

With the victory, St. Stephens advances its record to 6-3 on the season. The Indians travel to Asheville (Asheville, NC) to encounter the Cougars in a NW/The Mountain/Western Foothills/Mtn. Foothills battle on Tuesday, March 25. The Cougars come into the battle with a record of 3-4. Asheville won 18-5 in their recent league battle against Patton (Morganton, NC)

The Spartans now sport a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lincoln Charter for a non-league battle on Tuesday, March 25. Sun Valley will encounter a Eagles team coming off a 19-6 league loss to Christ the King (Huntersville, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 4-4.
