March 20, 2025: Rome, GA 30161 The Model Blue Devils (Rome, GA) soccer nipped the visiting Trion Bulldogs (Trion, GA), 1-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
The Blue Devils now hold a 7-3 record. They play next when they host Darlington for a 1A D-I Area 6 challenge on Monday, March 24. Model will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 10-1 league win over Haralson County (Tallapoosa, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 3-2.
With the loss, Trion moves to 7-3 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Mt. Zion (Mt. Zion, GA) to encounter the Eagles in a challenge on Tuesday, March 25. The Eagles go into the challenge with a record of 3-7. Mt. Zion lost 6-0 in their recent league challenge against Atlanta Classical Academy (Atlanta, GA)
