March 20, 2025: Griffin, GA 30224 Spalding Jaguars (Griffin, GA) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the visiting Sandy Creek Patriots (Tyrone, GA), 1-0 in a league test.
With the triumph, Spalding moves its record to 2-6 on the campaign. The Jaguars host Upson-Lee (Thomaston, GA) to clash with the Knights in a 4A Area 4 test on Tuesday, March 25. The Knights come into the test with a record of 2-7. Upson-Lee lost 6-0 in their recent league test against Whitewater (Fayetteville, GA)
The Patriots now sport a 2-7 record. They take the field next when they host North Clayton for a non-league test on Friday, March 21. Sandy Creek will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 7-3 league win over Cedar Grove (Ellenwood, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-5.
