Arkansas High School Softball - Buffalo Island Central bounces Bay
March 20, 2025: Bay, AR 72411 The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Buffalo Island Central Mustangs (Monette, AR) and the host Bay Yellowjackets (Bay, AR), observed Buffalo Island Central's softball team prevail over Bay by a tally of 16-0.
The Mustangs (3-2) will now prepare for their bout against Cross County (Cherry Valley, AR). The Thunderbirds go into the 2A Region 3 bout with a 3-5 record. In their last bout, Cross County knocked off Corning (Corning, AR), 23-1, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Yellowjackets clash with the Corning Bobcats (Corning, AR) in a 2A Region 3 bout, on Monday, March 31. Bay will attempt to advance on its 1-6 season record. The Bobcats go into the bout with a 0-6 record after their 23-1 league loss to Cross County (Cherry Valley, AR).
