California High School Softball - El Capitan topped by Point Loma

Point Loma Pointers (San Diego, CA) backers left the game pleased Thursday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting El Capitan Vaqueros (Lakeside, CA), 11-1 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Point Loma upgrades its record to 7-2 on the year. The Pointers travel to Brawley (Brawley, CA) to play the Wildcats in a non-league game on Saturday, March 22. The Wildcats enter the game with a record of 3-5. Brawley lost 7-1 in their recent non-league contest against Grossmont (El Cajon, CA)

The Vaqueros now hold a 2-4 record. They play next when they host Grossmont for a non-league contest on Friday, March 21. El Capitan will face a Foothillers squad coming off a 7-1 non-league win over Brawley (Brawley, CA). The Foothillers record now stands at 2-4.
