The Highland Baptist Christian Bears softball team scored 13 runs and held the host St. Martinville Tigers to 2 in the Bears non-league win on Thursday.

The Bears now sport a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy for a non-league battle on Monday, March 24. Highland Baptist Christian will confront a Tigers team coming off a 15-0 league loss to Notre Dame (Crowley, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 0-5.
