March 20, 2025: Lafayette, LA 70508 The St. Thomas More Cougars (Lafayette, LA) softball routed the visiting Northside Vikings (Lafayette, LA), 16-0 in Thursday's league outing.
The Cougars now sport a 14-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Catholic of Pointe Coupee for a non-league outing on Friday, March 21. St. Thomas More will encounter a Hornets team coming off a 19-4 non-league win over Slaughter Community Charter (Slaughter, LA). The Hornets record now stands at 13-4.
With the loss, Northside moves to 3-5 on the season. The Vikings travel to North Vermilion (Maurice, LA) to encounter the Patriots in a 4A District 4 outing on Tuesday, March 25. The Patriots come into the outing with a record of 6-10. North Vermilion lost 12-2 in their recent non-league outing against Parkview Baptist (Baton Rouge, LA)
