The Yosemite Badgers baseball team scored 8 runs and held the host Caruthers Blue Raiders to 3 in the Badgers league win on Friday.

The Badgers now hold a 7-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fowler for a Northwest Sequoia test on Tuesday, March 24. Yosemite will play a Redcats team coming off a 4-3 non-league win over McLane (Fresno, CA). The Redcats record now stands at 2-8.

The Blue Raiders (5-4) will now prepare for their outing against Minarets (O'Neals, CA). The Mustangs come into the Northwest Sequoia outing with a 10-2 record. In their last outing, Minarets tipped Dinuba (Dinuba, CA), 3-1, in a non-league outing.
