March 20, 2026: Vinton, LA 70668 The Vinton Lions (Vinton, LA) baseball trounced the visiting David Thibodaux Bulldogs (Lafayette, LA), 15-0 in Friday's non-league challenge.
The Lions now own a 15-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pickering for a 2A District 4 challenge on Tuesday, March 24. Vinton will encounter a Red Devils squad coming off a 15-2 non-league loss to Anacoco (Anacoco, LA). The Red Devils record now stands at 0-9.
The Bulldogs (3-16) will now prepare for their bout against Westgate (New Iberia, LA). The Tigers enter the 4A District 4 bout with a 10-11 record. In their last bout, Westgate was overwhelmed by St. Thomas More (Lafayette, LA), 14-1, in a league challenge.
