The Sinton Pirates softball team scored 7 runs and held the visiting Devine Warhorses / Arabians to 6 in the Pirates non-league win on Friday.

The Pirates now possess a 14-12 record. They play next when they travel to Lyford for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 24. Sinton will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Pharr-San Juan-Alamo (San Juan, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-10.

The Warhorses / Arabians (14-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Somerset (Somerset, TX). The Bulldogs enter the 4A Region IV District 27 challenge with a 18-7 record. In their last challenge, Somerset edged Pleasanton (Pleasanton, TX), 10-1, in a league challenge.
