March 21, 2022: Lyons, GA 30436 The Toombs County Bulldogs baseball team (Lyons, GA), was overwhelmed 12-0 in Monday's non-league outing with the visiting Benedictine Cadets (Savannah, GA)
The Cadets now hold a 11-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Jenkins for a AAAA Region 3 outing on Tuesday, March 22. Benedictine will face a Warriors team coming off a 6-4 league loss to Islands (Savannah, GA). The Warriors record now stands at 1-9.
Next, the Bulldogs face the Jeff Davis Yellowjackets (Hazlehurst, GA) in a AA Region 2 outing, on Tuesday, March 22. Toombs County will attempt to advance on its 5-6 season record. The Yellowjackets enter the outing with a 5-7 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Dodge County (Eastman, GA).
