North Carolina High School Softball - Alexander Central holds off Mooresville
March 21, 2022: Mooresville, NC 28115 The Alexander Central Cougars the host Mooresville Blue Devils softball squad by a final score of 8-6 in Monday's non-league battle.
The Cougars (9-0) will now prepare for their battle against Ashe County (West Jefferson, NC). The Huskies go into the Northwestern 3A/4A battle with a 0-5 record. In their last battle, Ashe County by Starmount (Boonville, NC), 12-5, in a non-league battle.
The Blue Devils now possess a 6-2 record. They play next when they host West Cabarrus for a Greater Metro 4A battle on Tuesday, March 22. Mooresville will meet a Wolverines squad coming off a 3-0 league win over A.L. Brown (Kannapolis, NC). The Wolverines record now stands at 3-4.
