Kentucky High School Softball - Assumption bounces Christian Academy-Louisville
March 21, 2022: Louisville, KY 40245 Assumption Rockets (Louisville, KY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Christian Academy-Louisville Centurions (Louisville, KY), 5-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Rockets now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Lafayette for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 22. Assumption will battle a Generals squad coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Bryan Station (Lexington, KY). The Generals record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Christian Academy-Louisville falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Centurions host Shelby County (Shelbyville, KY) to battle the Rockets in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 22. The Rockets enter the challenge with a record of 1-1. Shelby County lost 18-2 in their recent non-league challenge against DuPont Manual (Louisville, KY)
