Alabama High School Softball - Cleburne County gets by Woodland
March 21, 2022: Woodland, AL 36280 Spectators at Monday's non-league match between the Cleburne County Tigers (Heflin, AL) and the host Woodland Bobcats (Woodland, AL), witnessed Cleburne County's softball squad tip Woodland by a count of 3-2.
The Tigers now sport a 9-3 record. They play next when they host Spring Garden for a non-league match on Thursday, March 24. Cleburne County will face a Panthers squad coming off a 15-0 league win over Gaston (Gadsden, AL). The Panthers record now stands at 5-0.
With the loss, Woodland moves to 2-5 on the season. The Bobcats host Handley (Roanoke, AL) to face the Tigers in a non-league match on Tuesday, March 22. The Tigers go into the match with a record of 4-4. Handley lost 6-2 in their recent non-league match against Cherokee County (Centre, AL)
