March 21, 2023: Cameron, NC 28326 Union Pines Vikings (Cameron, NC) supporters were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Scotland Fighting Scots (Laurinburg, NC), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Vikings confront the Overhills Jaguars (Spring Lake, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, March 22. Union Pines will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record. The Jaguars enter the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Terry Sanford (Fayetteville, NC).
The Fighting Scots now possess a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pinecrest for a challenge on Tuesday, March 28. Scotland will confront a Patriots team coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Jack Britt (Fayetteville, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 3-2.
