North Carolina High School Soccer - Rocky Mount Academy nudges St. Thomas More Academy
March 21, 2023: Rocky Mount, NC 27803 Rocky Mount Academy Eagles (Rocky Mount, NC) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting St. Thomas More Academy Chancellors (Raleigh, NC), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Eagles confront the Epiphany Falcons (New Bern, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, March 23. Rocky Mount Academy will attempt to better on its 6-0 season record. The Falcons enter the challenge with a 0-6 record after their 3-0 league loss to Greenfield (Wilson, NC).
The Chancellors now have a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Grace Christian for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 24. St. Thomas More Academy will battle a Crusaders team coming off a 9-0 non-league win over Fayetteville HomeSchool (Fayetteville, NC). The Crusaders record now stands at 4-1.
