Georgia High School Lacrosse - Cambridge can't get by Pope
March 21, 2023: Marietta, GA 30062 In Tuesday's non-league test, the host Pope Greyhounds lacrosse squad scored a tight 10-9 victory over the Cambridge Bears.
The Greyhounds now have a 7-5 record. They take the field next when they host Blessed Trinity for a non-league test on Saturday, March 25. Pope will face a Titans squad coming off a 20-2 league win over Chattahoochee (Alpharetta, GA). The Titans record now stands at 12-0.
In their next game, the Bears face the Johns Creek Gladiators (Johns Creek, GA) in a 5A-6A Area 5 test, on Thursday, March 23. Cambridge will attempt to move on its 6-6 season record. The Gladiators come into the test with a 3-7 record after their 11-6 non-league loss to Greater Atlanta Christian (Norcross, GA).
