March 21, 2023: Decatur, GA 30034 The Southwest DeKalb Panthers (Decatur, GA) soccer nipped the visiting Salem Seminoles (Conyers, GA), 8-7 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
With the victory, Southwest DeKalb moves its record to 4-9 on the year. The Panthers travel to Stone Mountain (Stone Mountain, GA) to battle the Pirates in a 4A Area 6 bout on Friday, March 24. The Pirates enter the bout with a record of 3-7. Stone Mountain lost 8-3 in their recent non-league bout against Loganville (Loganville, GA)
In their next game, the Seminoles battle the Academy of Richmond County Musketeers (Augusta, GA) in a 3A Area 4 bout, on Thursday, March 23. Salem will attempt to move on its 2-8 season record. The Musketeers enter the bout with a 7-6 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Evans (Evans, GA).
