March 21, 2023: Albany, LA 70711 In Tuesday's league contest, the Albany Hornets (Albany, LA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Sumner Cowboys (Kentwood, LA), by a margin of 12-0.
With the triumph, Albany moves its record to 10-0 on the year. The Hornets travel to West Feliciana (St. Francisville, LA) to play the Saints in a non-league contest on Wednesday, March 22. The Saints come into the contest with a record of 6-4.
In their next game, the Cowboys play the Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy Swamp Owls (Kenner, LA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, March 23. Sumner will attempt to move on its 12-10 season record. The Swamp Owls come into the contest with a 1-3 record after their 7-4 league loss to Riverdale (Jefferson, LA).
