Marshfield Pirates (Coos Bay, OR) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Sutherlin Bulldogs (Sutherlin, OR), 15-5 in a non-league challenge.

The Pirates now own a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Newport for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 25.

With the loss, Sutherlin falls to 2-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to David Douglas (Portland, OR) to battle the Scots in a 6A Mt. Hood challenge on Tuesday, March 28. The Scots enter the challenge with a record of 1-2.
