Niles West Wolves (Skokie, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Ridgewood Rebels (Norridge, IL), 9-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Wolves now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lane Tech for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 24. Niles West will battle a Lane Tech squad coming off a 4-3 league win over Taft (Chicago, IL). The Lane Tech record now stands at 2-0.

With the loss, Ridgewood falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Rebels host Fenwick (Oak Park, IL) to clash with the Friars in a non-league game on Wednesday, March 22. The Friars come into the game with a record of 1-0. Fenwick won 6-5 in their recent non-league game against Nazareth Academy (LaGrange Park, IL)
