Illinois High School Volleyball - Marmion tips Wheaton Academy
March 21, 2024: West Chicago, IL 60185 The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Marmion Cadets (Aurora, IL) and the host Wheaton Academy Warriors (West Chicago, IL), saw Marmion's volleyball squad nip Wheaton Academy by a tally of 2-1.
With the win, Marmion upgrades its record to 1-2 on the year. The Cadets travel to Bishop McNamara (Kankakee, IL) to play the Fightin' Irish in a non-league bout on Saturday, March 23. The Fightin' Irish go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Bishop McNamara lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Plainfield South (Plainfield, IL)
The Warriors now hold a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Montini Catholic for a non-league match on Wednesday, April 3. Wheaton Academy will clash with a Broncos squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Nazareth Academy (LaGrange Park, IL). The Broncos record now stands at 1-1.
