Illinois High School Softball - Hononegah topped by Antioch
March 21, 2024: Rockton, IL 61072 The Antioch Sequoits softball team scored 14 runs and limited the host Hononegah Indians to 1 in the Sequoits non-league triumph on Thursday.
With the triumph, Antioch moves its record to 5-0 on the year. The Sequoits host Lakes (Lake Villa, IL) to play the Eagles in a Northern Lake County game on Tuesday, April 2. The Eagles come into the game with a record of 2-3. Lakes lost 16-4 in their recent non-league game against North Boone (Poplar Grove, IL)
In their next game, the Indians play the Huntley Red Raiders (Huntley, IL) in a non-league game, on Monday, March 25. Hononegah will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Red Raiders come into the game with a 2-1 record after their 7-5 non-league loss to Lockport (Lockport, IL).
